Ravens vs Buccaneers Odds:
NFL Week 8 Thursday Night Football is here and I got 3 ways for you to win with these Expert NFL Picks and Player Props Bets being released on this game between the Baltimore Ravens vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers game.
We’ve already started off the week hot with these free picks and prop bets and I’m looking to continue making profits this Thursday Night.
The NFL odds have the Tampa Bay Bucs as a -2 point favorite against the spread with the over/under is at 46 total points.
Ravens Game Betting Preview:
The Baltimore Ravens come into this game at the top of the AFC North at 4-3 overall. They got the 23-20 home win against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Baltimore blew double-digit leads in the second half of each of their three losses this season and they almost did it for a fourth time last Sunday against the Browns.
In that matchup, running back Gus Edwards made his return from that ACL injury he suffered last season and looked impressive with 16 carries for 66 rushing yards. Baltimore is playing it safe so nothing happens again to that ACL. They limited him in practice all week long and he’s listed as questionable tonight. They need Edwards in the backfield because they are still without J.K. Dobbins for another few weeks.
The Ravens currently have the 6th best offense in the league that’s scoring an average of 26 points per game, but their defense has been subpar, giving up an average of 23 points per game.
Baltimore is 13-3 straight up in their last 16 games against an opponent in the NFC and the total has gone under in 13 of the Ravens last 18 games on the road.
Buccaneers Game Betting Preview:
Now the Tampa Bay Buccaneers come into this matchup still at the top of the NFC South even with the 3-4 record.
The Bucs lost their last two games in a row against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers, so right now they’re in a desperate need of a big win so they can get back on track to the Tom Brady’s winning ways. They’ve scored only 21 points total in their last two games and those kind of number won’t cut it if they want to make the playoffs this season try to make another Super Bowl run.
One thing you never want to do is count Tom Brady out especially when playing a game at home, even if he’s 45 years old. Brady still has passed for 1942 yards this season, which puts him ranked sixth for total passing yards among all active quarterbacks.
The Bucs wide receiver Russell Gage has been ruled out and Julio Jones is a game-time decision. Tight end Cameron Brate has officially been ruled out, so rookie Cade Otton will fill that void. Otton put together a good performance last week against the Panthers catching 4 passes for 64 yards and he should be able to put up similar stats in Week 8.
With all the injuries Tampa Bay has endured this season, I think for this Thursday Night football game, Mike Evans will be able to step it up and spark this offense a little bit. That’s why I went ahead and threw 2-Units on the Player Prop Bet that Mike Evans will score a touchdown anytime in this game at the +140 odds.
Tampa Bay currently has the 5th best defense in the league that’s only giving up an average of 17.7 points per game. Unfortunately, their offense has been terrible and has only been able to score an average of 17.7 points per game.
The Bucs are 0-5 against the spread in their last 5 games and the total has gone under in 6 of Tampa Bay’s last 7 games.
