In Gianni’s absence, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday have really stepped up their performances and carrying the team on their backs, but I can’t envision them continuing that play to pull off an upset against the Suns to hold up the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy.
Phoenix comes into this game 1 seeking their first NBA Championship win after taking care of the Lakers, Nuggets, then the Clippers so far this playoffs. Chris Paul has been locked in and waited a very long time for this opportunity, so expect him to play his heart out this series. Devin Booker in the last series against the Clippers and their top defenders, still managed to average 25.5 points per game and you should see him put up even better numbers is this finals series.
