The Yankees are extremely happy to have their 26-year old right hand pitcher, Nestor Cortes back and ready to get the start tonight against the Rays. He’s been out the last two weeks due to health protocols, but he’s been activated and ready to go for this matchup. In his two starts and seven relief appearances this season he’s been very impressive with a 1.05 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP.
In the game on Tuesday Night against Tampa they officially reinstated catcher Kyle Higashioka and outfielder Aaron Judge. Judge had a hit and New York pulled off the 4-3 win, which puts them now above the 500 mark on the road this season at 25-24 overall.
