New Mexico comes into this game off a 28-0 loss on last Friday to the Air Force. Quarterback Tevaka Tuioti missed the last few games duo to a concussion, but is now questionable for this game. Sophomore Quarterback Trae Hall would make his third straight start. Hall is off to a miserable start. In his last two game he’s 40 out of 74 completions for 316 total yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. New Mexico is ranked 115th in the nation on offense only putting up an average of 18.5 points per game while giving up an average of 33 points per game on defense.
New Mexico are 5-14 against the spread in their last 19 games and the Lobos are 0-19 straight up in their last 19 games against an opponent in the Mountain West conference.
Utah State comes into this game 0-4 overall this season after a cancelled game last week against Wyoming. Utah State has one of the worst offenses in the nation only averaging 11.2 points per game over these last four games and ranked near the bottom on defense, giving up an average of 37.2 points per game.
Utah State is 0-5 against the spread in their last 5 games and the total has gone under in 5 of the Aggies last 6 games against New Mexico.
This will be a Thanksgiving battle of two horrible college football teams, both offensively and defensively. We think with a new quarterback at the helm, it will give Utah State a spark on offense and we’re going to roll with Utah State Team Total to go over the 22.5 Points at the -112 price
