FC Twente’s Nacer Chadli Signs on to Tottenham

Chadli is just 23 but he has achieved a momentum many footballers could just dream of.

Chadli is going to discuss personal terms and conditions with the Barclay’s Premier League Club. He will also undergo a medical assessment before the transfer. Chadli has been in the Eredivisie with Twente for last three seasons. He has outperformed and scored in both Champions League ties against Spurs during the 2010-11 season.

If the deal goes through without a hitch, Chadli will join the new team-mates in Hong Kong. Andre Villas-Boas's side is going to compete in the Barclays Asia Trophy in Hong Kong.

Chadli, with14 international caps to his name, initially used to play for Morocco in a non-competitive fixture before playing for Belgium.

He shined at AGOVV Apeldoorn before enjoying a illuminating stint in Holland, scoring 31 goals for Twente. Undisclosed sources reported that the transfer fee is going to be around £7million.

He is anticipated to be Villas-Boas' second important acquisition of this summer. The club has also signed Brazil international midfielder Paulinho from Corinthians earlier this month.
