Oregon after Florida state in BCS standings

Oregon after Florida state in BCS standingsNo. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Florida State have topped the season's first BCS standings and, now, they have got the inside track to the national championship game. Released on Sunday night, the standings have put Florida State ahead of No. 3 Oregon. This happened only one day after the Seminoles had cruised to a 51-14 win at Clemson. The BCS calculations include two polls and both of them, Oregon is second and Florida State third. However, the standings' computer component did give the Seminoles the advantage. Among the top five teams Ohio State is No. 4 and Missouri is No. 5 are the undefeated teams. The top one-loss team, Stanford, is at No. 6. The Cardinal, by the way, occupies a place prior to two top teams with almost fully perfect records: No. 7 Miami and No. 8 Baylor. Clemson is at No. 9 and the undefeated Texas Tech is at No. 10.
