Irish QB Tommy Rees probable for next game

Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees is going to return to practice on Tuesday. He is expected to play on Saturday at Air Force, coach Brian Kelly has said. Rees had left the past weekend's game against USC early in the third quarter. He had suffered a neck strain on a sack by Lamar Dawson.

Notre Dame was ahead 14-10 at the time of his injury and it finished up winning by that margin. The offense was, however, struggling to move the ball on the seven drives with backup Andrew Hendrix at the helm.
